On March 26, 2025, the Internet Society Pakistan Islamabad Chapter proudly joined hands with Path Finder Solutions, ICANN, Ministry Of IT & Telecom, NIC Islamabad and UNESCO to host #UA Day 2025: Connecting the Dots – UA and Accessibility for Persons with Disabilities at the National Incubation Center, Islamabad.
This collaborative event highlighted the critical intersection of Universal Acceptance (UA) and digital accessibility, ensuring that all domain names and email addresses, regardless of script, language, or length, are accepted across all digital systems. More importantly, we explored how UA supports inclusive digital access for persons with disabilities, particularly those using assistive technologies.
